To make up for assaulting your eyes with the stinky cover artwork for "Here Comes Mr. Jordan", let me now bathe your ocular organs in the cool soothing glow of "The Roaring Twenties", a DVD that got done right ...
The cover is good, and if that was all that came with the movie, I would still be a happy consumer. But lucky us, with this awesome gangster epic, we also receive a newsreel, a musical short ("All Girl Revue" ... woo woo!), a comedy short ("The Great Library Misery"), a Tex Avery cartoon ("Thugs With Dirty Mugs"), and some informative musings from Leonard Maltin. For all of their shortcomings, at least somebody at Warner Bros. has the brains to produce well-packaged media.
